Review summary

Itinerary was changed and boat wasn't equipped for 2days at sea. It was under renovations. Higher balcony rooms not renovated. Staff was great and food was just decent.

They weren't working on deck 6 when I was on it, but they were moving to the back of boat on deck 6 when I got off the boat

Deck 8, some were updates, some no, I was in 8414 and it didn't have the flat screen TV yet. I didn't spend a lot of time in the cabin anyways

Thank you. I've searched their website but cant find updates. We are on deck 8 in early December. It won't ruin my trip to have an un-updated room. Just wondering if I need to pack air freshener and Lysol wipes or not. :-)

If there was an issue, they have changed peoples cabins to get away from any construction. . They put out a notification that deck 6 was being upgraded, but that was over a month ago. The decks have been getting completed in 2 weeks time frames.

Haha.. tntfl. That isnt the point i just feel as though carnival could have sent emails that this was going on so that you could be prepared or asked to be moved to another floor. I had a migraine and tried to nap and it did not help with all the drilling and banging and yelling in languages you couldn't understand. .lol

We just got off Victory today. And 6th floor is in no way completed. I am totally disappointed that this wasn't posted that renovations were taking place. We were 2 doors across from it and the noise along with the glue smell was horrible..

Which balcony was under renovation, because the 8th deck is done and the 6th was done last week, the suppose to be finishing up top decks soon

You do know that some of the usual destinations are closed due to hurricane damage right? As far as room renovation goes, why or how did you expect that? What were you looking for? Your statement makes no sense.
