Great Cruise

Sail Date: September 04, 2016

Reviewed: 2 months ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

Even though the ship was being renovated during the cruise, the ship, the crew, the entertainment and the food was outstanding. The Victory class ship was the most stable and comfortable we've been on after 10 cruises. In January 2016 we cruised on a larger ship with another cruise line - BIG MISTAKE! The ship was very unstable and caused my wife to become very sea sick. The ship seemed to be constructed by a disorganized person and after 7 days we were still getting lost. The crew were also disorganized and many couldn't answer basic questions. Carnival is the best, most active and entertaining cruise line with the best trained and FRIENDLY crews. Next cruise we will definitely look for a Victory Class ship flying the Carnival colors.

Cabin / Stateroom
Seemed larger than other ocean view cabins we've had, everything was fairly new and very clean.

Port Canaveral, Florida
Freeport
The guided Jeep ride was good, but equipment needed upgrading and repairs.
Nassau, Bahamas
To see Atlantis was very interesting and entertaining, but everything is extremely expensive.

Tip

Easiest was to get from the front to the back or visa versa, was the Main Deck ( 2 ). One set of stairs up to dinning room at the end and one set of stairs up to the main theater with stairs and elevators to the center of the ship in-between. I believe the 5th floor is the same, but did not try it.
