Review summary

I have done many cruises and always in a balcony cabin.  My sister and I decided to save money and book an inside cabin since there would be no spectacular balcony views on this trip.  We loved the roominess of the cabin.  Did not miss the balcony at all.  Only complaint is that there was a very loud, inconsiderate family with a small child that ran up and down the hall and cried  at 1:00 am.  Parents were very loud but security took care of it.

Only other major problem was  the 50 minute safety drill because two passengers cold not be located.  There needs to be some other way to handle that rather than have 2998 passengers stand in formation for that long.  Food in dining room was great.  Food in buffet not so good but okay enough to keep us more than full.

The cruise director Marcello was fabulous.  No comedians needed because he was a blast.

Entertainment

Song and Dance shows way too loud. Dancers were good, singers not so good. Comedians were funny- especially the family show.

Children's Programs

Service and Staff

Marcello "Marshmellow" cruise director was great. Gene, our head waiter, was wonderful. Even brought me cookies when I could not find them elsewhere.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Older ship but very clean and convenient.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Great space and convenient. There was lots of noise from a couple of families across the hall from us who spent a lot of time in front of our door talking and arguing loudly and letting their child run up and down the hall - even at 1:00 am.

Ship tip

If you want cookies or cake with your afternoon coffee, you will not be able to obtain any between 4 and 6 as most food venues are closed except room service.

Marcello is fantastic. I booked victory in October because he was going to be the cruise director. Now he's going to another trip soon. 😟
