Review summary

From day one the cruise was terrible, waiting on customer service two time on the first day because they never communicate the endless bubbles to me correctly,I missed the send off brunch and the midday meal and the first five minute of dining  because I was waiting on long lines. The stewards Herry was  very polite and greeted you every day with a smile, I  told him  that my the television remote wasn't  working  and he got someone to look at it, but they took the remote from the cabin and never came back, had to wait again on long line for guest services the next day and then the remote never worked had to get out of my bed to control the volume  and change station. The food in the dining room was poor my family sent back plates every night and breakfast  on deck was also unsatisfactory. My grandson played in the arcade  and the system went down and when he went back to redeem his point his card he had lost all his tickets  never got a solution or explanation  from guest service. Been on several cruises  with Carnival but will never cruise on this ship again.

I never have understood a tv on a cruise ship either but to each their own I suppose

I don't think I even touched the tv when I cruised. If the tv remote is that important, stay home. Give me the ocean and a balcony to sit on. Nothing else matters on a cruise. If it does, then maybe you need a staycation instead. Victory is what you bring.

Wow, I just got off her 2 weeks ago or so. Yes the ship needs updates and such but overall I was impressed with the price, the service, the food was just as comparable with NCL and RC on many selections, if not better I was saying to DH, he loves duck lol. I did go to guest service 1x and was attended almost immediately. I did not appreciate the renos going on the lido deck but that was the only thing I didn't like. Bummer it wasn't the same for you.

I think he was on the same cruise you were in, the only thing he said something about was the work being done on the Lido Deck.

That's funny a co worker of mine just came back this past Thursday from the Victory and his whole family had a terrific time.

I'm so sorry your cruise went badly. We cruised on the Victory and thought it was wonderful.

Give RC a shot you'll be glad you did

I was on the same ship and it was the worst cruise I had ever been on. Room, food. Overbooked with to many children and not enough seats.

What is a send off brunch? Apparently I've missed those too. How did you miss the midday meal? Usually there are lots of options midday. Did the endless bubbles program change? You've been on several Carnival cruises so they must have changed it. How did they not communicate that so you missed brunch, lunch and 5 minutes of dinner? I can see why you are upset.

Did call Carnival cooperate and let them know the issue?? If you make any complaints on board they can look it up for you and maybe want u back as a customer. I had that happen to me on my last cruise.
