Review summary

I enjoy taking cruises but this was my least favorite.  The Dining room food was not as good as usual and the service was very slow.  The ship had an over all bad odor.  I asked if my sheets could be washed with no fabric softener because I am allergic to it.  The next day I was presented with a set of sheets from my room steward, with a smile on his facing, saying "no soap, washed with no soap".  So I slept on sheets that had not been washed with soap but rinsed with softener.  I had a case of swollen eyes and rash over most of my body for the entire trip.  I don't mean to complain because he really tried but just didn't understand English very well.  I wonder if maybe these short cruises to the Bahamas are used to train the new staff.

I was just on the Victory Feb 25 for three days....this was my 30th cruise, I thought the Victory was amazing well maintained and clean excellent service throughout.... I think perhaps some people are best to just stay home and find fault within themselves....lighten up people you set your standards so high that you are missing out on life

I just got off the ship yesterday and the smell was terrible the whole cruise

The crew change ships every few months. So no, they are not being trained specifically on shorter trips.

I don't know for sure but that sound logical because it is shorter cruises and cheaper and on the older ships

If l were you l would take a set of sheets when l travel any where that l will be staying l cant see how they could wash sheets separate when there are over 2000 beds being change daily why rake your self thru that also you could have gotten sheets and rewashed them in the laundry room would of cost all of 2.00 an you would of have a great vacation
