Review summary
The travel agent talked us into taking a balcony room on the 11th deck, just below the Serenity bar and hot tub area. The Serenity bar was loaded with foul-mouthed, drunk college students the entire trip. The stateroom smelled of a backed up sewer system for most of the trip, so we had to keep the balcony door open most of the time while we were in the room. I understand why he had to talk us into the room - nobody would want this room if they knew what the state of the mess was.
Room service was limited to one time per day, and we had to pick either morning or evening to have our room tended to - disgusting. Also - what ever happened to the candies on the pillows in the evening?
On another note - there was entirely too much smoking allowed all over the ship, with nobody policing the violators. The entire starboard side was open for smoking (even in the dining areas outside) and the people were smoking freely around the pool on the fantail every day. This was just not cigarettes either, many people smoking cigars and electronic smokes. Absolutely not acceptable. I cruise a couple of times per year, and will probably look for a different cruise line in the future.

Ship tip
Don't take a stateroom on the 11th deck. Big mistake. I usually book amidships.
