Review summary

Overall it was good. Disappointed with Carnival in their decision to try and outrun a hurricane and skip St. Maarten port of call. They wanted to run back to the port and spend the rest of our cruise in port with the wind and rain. Fortunately, the port wouldn't let them in and was closed. The captain then took the ship out to see where we had beautiful sunshine and calm weather. All was good. Thank YOU Jesus!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Same old, low end quality food for breakfast and lunch. Dinners were nice in the dining room, but the buffet had low quality foods as welll for dinner.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Nothing too spectacular here. The entertainment was average. There was one comedian who was just downright awful and shouldn't be a comedian.

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Small balcony, the design and layout of the ship caused LONNNNG lines for breakfast and lunches. Took 1/2 hour at least to go through the lines. Very poorly laid out.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Small room for a balcony as well. TV ddn't work, the room just seemed ran down.

Ports of call

Basseterre, St. Kitts
