Review summary

This was our very first cruise so we really don't have any other to compare it to, but very clean ship and organized activities. Great itinerary and on-time schedule! Overall, it was a good experience.

We were on deck 1 and it was very noisy going into port every morning, alot of vibrating while docking at 6:30 am!

Ports of call

Bridgetown, Barbados

My husband and I are runners, so we ran around the city in the morning and it's really run down. Didn't buy an excurtion here, but took a taxi from the port to a nice beach not far from the ship. Some of the beaches have an entrance fee, but the taxi drivers know which don't.

Basseterre, St. Kitts

Alot better island as far as not being run down. Bought an excursion to the beach and saw beautiful scenery on the way to and from. Beach was nice but the water has a drop off where it's hard to get in and out of the water.
Don't Miss: Monkeys on this island! They are adorable.

Castries, St. Lucia

Went for a run in the morning around the area and it's pretty run down. Bought the excursion to the beach resort which was nice, but the beach itself was not good, drop off in the water and hard to get in and out of.

Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas

Shopping is mostly jewelry and liquor stores, which was a disappointment to us. Went to Megan's Bay which was a great scenic trip and nice beach. Had to pay to rent our chairs in addition to the excursion price.
Don't Miss: Scenic views.

Philipsburg, St. Maarten

Beautiful scenic island. This was by far the nicest island from the port to all the areas. We didn't buy an excursion to the french beach but able to walk to a nice beach 1/2 mile away and good shopping and restaurants around the same area.

Pros: Always something to do onboard!

Cons: A little crowded in the buffet areas. Entertainment was average.
