Overall, it was a great first cruise for my parents and a second one for me. I will not visit Amber Cove or Nassau again. I hope to visit HMC next time and will return to Grand Turk. Beautiful turquoise waters, animals, and sights. Very hot around this time of year and a bit scary due to nearby hurricanes. I may travel later in the year like I did last time.
Shoutout to my Travel Agent and the staff on the Venezia! This cruise was needed and solidified my love for cruising! I will be back on the Venezia in the future. Programming was awesome and the food made the trip
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Got there early. Was allowed to get in line earlier than expected but still waited until our group time so wish we just came on time. People were rude but the staff was nice.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
A lot of choices. We had something different to eat every day. Some days we would repeat the food because it was that good. We spent more time dining in the marketplace because they had some of the food that the fancy dining rooms were serving. I wish they had more different desserts but the ice cream was a great touch. The workers worked really hard to serve us and clean after us. I was very grateful for them.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
There were pools, jacuzzis, a sauna, a gym, a spa, a theater, a night club, a mini golf course, an arcade, a ropes course, slides, and karaoke nights. I enjoyed the arts and crafts as well!
Entertainment
5 out of 5
There were a lot of activities, especially at the same time, but we had time to attend each one on different days. We loved them! There was two types of broadway shows, different musicians (we loved the Latin group), comedians (who were hilarious), and magicians. We enjoyed the DJs on Lido deck as well.
Children's Programs
5 out of 5
I did not use them as I am not a child and do not have children. But it seemed that the children had options and made friends.
Service and Staff

100/10!! These people deserve recognition all the time. Special shoutout to Marvie and Malik!
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The layout was huge but we got used to it. I hated that we needed to walk through the smoking side of the casino to get to dinner. I also did not enjoy the size of the pools. Common areas were 80% clean but I believe it was more so the fault of the guests. Many lacked respect and left utensils/plates on elevators, for example.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Cabin was bigger than I expected. We had 2 beds. The closet was big but not big enough for 3 people. I also wish the bathrooms had more shelf space or was bigger. Malik kept our room very clean and organized. He always left behind a towel animal too :) We did not have a window but we did not mind. You barely felt the motion on the boat on this floor. It was also close to the elevator.
I am not sure if it was the weather but it was the least favorite of mine. The beach is not as close as they make it seem. The food is overpriced. One side feels family friendly and the other does not. There is only one way to get in and out of the port from the town area (a lot of walking). The people at the beach are more of a party crowd. Men try to charge you $10 per person for a beach chair. They can be pushy and will watch if you set your stuff down. I would probably not visit again unless I fly in to a different part of the island. I did not feel 100% safe here. The Marina Village was nice but not much to see. Stores were closed. Excursions overpriced. Taxis were fairly priced and conveniently located.
AMAZING. Beach is right next to port. So is Margaritaville! Stray dogs come around and they look so sad. Proceed with caution. We did not do any excursions but I wish we had rented a golf cart. I heard it may be around $40 for the day. I wanted to see the donkeys! We went to the pool as well and it was a great size. A lot of people were dancing. The DJ was great! There is a quieter side which was nice. There's a restaurant with amazing pina coladas. We saw a NASA exhibit and a HUGE whale statue. It was overall an amazing port. I would definitely come back asap.
I did not have high expectations for this port (sorry). It is one of the newer ones but does not provide much of an experience. In the future, I would pay for an excursion because we ran out of things to see. There is a beach right next to the port but in order to visit it, you have to walk 20 minutes outside of the port. The taxis are extremely overpriced. The cheapest round trip anywhere was $80. The sun was ruthless and there were minimal places with shade. They had a big huge sign of Amber Cove but there was a long line. Rushed through it and the pictures came out terrible. Right next to that is a stand with coconut juice. There is also a straw market which was cool. There are shops (can be pricey) but found local coffee for $4 a bag!
It was easier than getting on, for sure. It smelled like smoke everywhere (similar to my onboard experience ugh). It was busy as expected. The taxis were cheap before getting off and ended up paying twice as much once off boat. I would recommend crossing the street to get a taxi. We got our suitcases fast because they were just grouped on the side. They didn't really check anything besides our card before we got off. They did not check our passports as they said they would.
