Did not know what to expect as a first timer. I was pleasantly surprised. My only complaint is that the food could have been a little hotter at some times during our dinners. Other than that we had a great time and we got value for what we paid. Thumb up.

Dining rooms were very nice, smaller portion sizes than specialty restaurants. Would of liked food to be a bit hotter. All specialty restaurants were really good. Food was very good, portion sizes were adequate and the quality was excellent. We went to the Italian, Japanese and steakhouse. Breakfast was very good and the value for what was paid was worth it. We did not go to the buffet at all during the entire cruise. We did not get the cheers package, we drank every day and did not spend even close to what they wanted to charge for 2.

We did not participate in any other activities. Pools were very crowded with young kids. We expected that due to going during vacation time

Comedy shows, DJ's and all musicians were excellent. Nightly stage shows were fun and very well organized. Cruise Director was top notch and very talented and fun.

All food service, room stewards and other ship personnel were very nice and went out of their way to provide great service during the whole cruise.
Ship Quality

As a first time cruiser. The ship was clean, and always being cleaned. After a couple days we knew where to to go and were comfortable exploring on the ship on sea days. The Italian theme of the ship was very nice. Just have nothing to compare it too but we were very happy.
Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was nice, bed was comfortable. Closest space was tight, but we brought more that what we needed / thought. Steward was great friendly and he did a great job in the up keep of the room. Having a balcony was a big plus and a must in my opinion.

Give it and you won't be dissaponted regardless of all negative reviews.
Welcome to cruising! Glad you enjoyed it. The food in the main dining room is typically made hours before. Since they are feeding thousands, they can’t possibly make those after they’re ordered. So if the dishes are warm at all, consider it a blessing.
