Review summary

Overall I love Carnival cruise line. I recommend them for quality and affordability. This itinerary was good. The last 3 at sea days were a bit much. I think it could have been a 9 day but any day on a cruise is a blessing. No complaints except the excursion in San Juan.

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

Spent a few hours at the beach however the food cabana on the right side of the island was closed. It was a 20 minute walk to the food. I heard from others that the wait line was 40 minutes. We went back to the ship to eat. The beach terrain was a bit steep and rocky. I did find an area to go in and out that was covered in sand however there were alot of rocks.

My all time favorite stop. No excursion. Just visited the pool area. Love this area and pool is so clean.

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Great stop however our excursion was not good. I have MS and look for the EASY excursion. We went to the fort and had almost an hour to walk around. The terrain was very unstable and steep. I walked part of it and could not go to the shopping area because I was in pain. The next day was a bust because I was recovering.

Sorry about your MS. Yes San Juan city is hilly and lots of cobblestones. I recommend watching some of the YouTube videos on tours before deciding if your condition can handle it.
