Review summary

This was our 5th Carnival cruse. It will be our last. It was only the 9th voyage of the ship and they made a point of telling us to leave a review survey. We never got one, I emailed Carnival twice--nothing. MANY people on the cruise said they won't do Carnival again based on this experience.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Breakfast buffet was always cold or lukewarm at best. Only the omlet station gave hot food. even oatmeal was lukewarm. Specialty restaurants were good but of course you have to pay for it. Main diningroom was good.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The shows were ok. I was turned off by the wokeness of the "Love" show. In general the actors and dancers were ok but I felt like I was watching a "B" production of the shows. The costumes were ok. The designer thought everyone should wear boots and coats for every production. Comedy shows were ok.

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The design is ridculous. Two small pools. Two Hot tubs in the adult area only every adult clamoring to get there because the space was small. If it's slightly windy the attendants won't put up the umbrellas so you are cooking in the sun. Elevators have 18 people limit-- I don't know what size people they are talking about. I don't even think you can fit 18 children and definately not 18 cruise people. The air conditioning was minimal in the cabins. It never was really cool mid-day in the room or the hallways.

Ship tip

If long lines and crowds don't bother you then this is your ship.

Disembarkation

Everything was in order but the port had problems with disembarkation so everyone had to wait 1 hour to get off.

You are not set for cruising. Land base vacancies sound more suited for you.thanks for sharing

Thank you for sharing your cruising experience.

surveys are done by a 3rd party and not the cruise lines. disembarking hold ups are usually caused by customs... not the lines fault.

Not sure what the problem with a survey was.
