The Carnival Venezia is a great ship to travel if you want a convenient trip to the Caribbean from New York City. The food, room, and entertainment were excellent. The ship has Italian decor with pillars and marble with Venice as the inspiration. I specially loved the Artisanal Deli and Pizza Cafe late at night.

The rope course, miniature golf, and slides were excellent, exciting, and very enjoyable past times in the ship. My daughters and I loved our miniature golf sessions during the evening breeze and moonlight and starry lighted atmosphere.

Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
I love our cabin-located midship. It was very peaceful, private and relaxing with our balcony. Additionally it felt comfortable and very safe. One sees the water but there is no chance of falling -not too high and not too low and promenade deck is below; perfect for kids.
Ship tip
It is an excellent option as a destination port for anyone living in NY. The pier is in midtown and very accessible.
The snorkeling was awesome. This is the first time I saw a coral reef up close. The beach and water was phenomenal. The boat tour were excellent in their knowledge of the activity and the area.
The beach was incredible, especially if you walk a bit further from the crowd. The temperature of the water was perfect. The bbq was excellent before and after swimming. Tender to the beach was quick and allowed handiccapped persons to board as well. That was a great surprise!
It was a bit confusing. We had to leave our cabin at 0830 am and did not leave until 1000 am about. They should have said that it was not by muster station but by the number on luggage so we did not have to wait so long on the lower decks. Stay in the cafe until they call your number so you can have seating.
