For the Manhattan port complex in NYC, yes you will need to exit the ship between your segments of a B2B. Special instructions will be delivered to your cabin about 48 hours prior to the return about where to meet and what you need to bring with you to Customs on turnaround day. If not keeping the same cabin stewards will handle the bad transfers.
