Staff was exceptional, very friendly, called us by our names.

Beautiful ship, the staff is amazing, and the food is really good. If I could change one thing it would be adding a waterwork area for kids. The main pools were crowded with people drinking which is fine but I would of liked an area for kids. The kids got to enjoy the pool at night while watching a movie so no big deal.

The Valor was a wonderful ship. The room and ship for plan were comfortable. Fantastic customer service!

What a great cruise this was. Took the kids and grandsons on the first cruise. The ship was beautiful. We stayed in balcony cabins. Two of them had adjoining balconies that the steward opened up for us. Our room steward was wonderful. We always came back to a clean room during the day. When we came back after dinner the bed was turned down for us. I asked him to fill our ice bucket everyday. He brings us another and fills both. He was the best room steward we ever had. For the first time on a cruise we ate in the MDR. I see now what I have been missing! The wait staff was so wonderful. For the life of me, I don’t know how those guys hear a name once and remember it the whole cruise. They were so sweet to my grandsons. Made sure the little guy had his food first. 😀 We did sea day brunch for the first time on this cruise. I discovered the Mac and cheese with steak. Oh my goodness! That stuff is so good. We also bought cheers for the first time. If you are on the fence about getting it, do it. We will probably never sail without it again. The 2 year old had a lot of fun being a penguin in camp ocean. The 9 year old wanted nothing to do with being a shark. I really loved this ship.... maybe even as much or a bit more than Freedom. That is saying a lot because Freedom is my favorite. It’s a shame she is leaving Galveston. I am going to miss her.

I had the time of my life. This was my first cruise and it will not be my last. The ship was clean and beautiful. I loved everything about it.

with this being our 1st cruise ever we we very happy with our room, our Steward who went above and beyond to make our 11th anniversary special met our expectations! I wouldnt have known any different if the ship was "older" or not after reading these posts. I was happy with the ship, the staff, the acitivies and the Main Dining room food we indulged in and got 2-3 of everything for everynights dinner. we loved the food. the omelet buffet line was a hit too every morning!! Loved the isolated Serenity deck too!

Great! Can’t wait for the next one. Maybe, if I can afford it, will spring for a balcony!

This was our first cruise and we can’t wait to take another one.

I’m going to start with the positive (there really isn’t much to be negative about)! Our room steward was great. He remembered our names (5 of us) and I can’t even remember his. Anything we requested was done. We had the shower back up and it was immediately tended to and taken care of. I’m not sure when this man sleeps or eats but he was amazing and I will be letting Carnival know (I have his card in my purse). The cruise director was fun and energetic. He interacted with my kids and now my 17-yr-old wants to be a cruise director. There were plenty of activities to keep you busy. The pools are bigger than the Breeze but they were still packed. Hot tubs were also packed and used as overflow swimming for the kids. The one water slide is ok but there’s only so many times you can do it before it gets old. I wish this ship had more water activities for the kids. The kids clubs were great. My kids enjoyed them. Dining room food was good. However, service was slow. Not the servers fault, just so many trying to eat at one time. I wasn’t a fan of the buffet the two times we tried it. Pizza and burgers were great. Rooms are dated and need some love. Our curtains had holes in them but one day came back to brand new curtains. The bed was ok. I asked right away for a mattress pad to add some cushion. This ship was packed. I don’t think I will go during the summer months or school holidays. Lines were long, seats were hard to find on lido and the pools were too packed to enjoy. This ship is older and smaller than my first cruise. Maybe my standards were too high. We still had a good time. Staff were friendly, so no complaints there at all. There is a slot in the back of the casino that was loose. It was a quarter slot and I believe Triple Lucky or something like that. I put in $15 and pulled three times at max bet and walked away with $244. I was done gambling. I tried to go back but that one was always busy. Everyone else found this one too. We were charged for 2 towels that we did not take. I called carnival and those charges were reimbursed. We also had some other charges pop up that we did not authorize. Be sure and take a look at your statement after sailing. The one we had at our door was different than what was online. Pixels needs to be digital. They don’t give straws in drinks because they want to save the ocean (I get it); however, they print no less than 100k pictures a week?!? They have some mad editing skills and make you look way prettier than you really are but at $21.99 per pic (for an 8x10) I couldn’t buy them all and trashed probably around 50 pictures. I wanted to cry because I hate throwing away pics of my kids. We had a great time. Getting off ship at port and disembarkation was a breeze with no problems.

This was a good cruise well worth the value.I loved the Alchemy bar and Gabriel was the best. Don't waste your money on any other drink on the cruise. They make the best drinks. Mr. Sancho's was a good time, definitely worth the money. Couple of notes... The Latin music was only played in the Casio area which was full of smoke. Additionally they were limited on their music selection. The App said Rumba was played, however they did not know any Rumba songs. The Cruise shows were good, however on our cruise returning day the activities were a little limited. Perfect for relaxing but if you still wanted to do things you might get a little bored. Overall this was a great cruise and well worth the money. Enjoy and have fun!!!

Had a amazing cruise Pedro our Stewart was great and made friends with Stephanie that organized the bingo bingo even though I didn't win had fun. Comedy show was funny

This was our first cruise. We enjoyed everything on the ship. The only thing was the ports the girl helping us recommended we're not that great. Wasted money!

It was really good time! Had fun with family and friends!! Dani was our waiter every night for dinner and did a excellent job!!

I really enjoyed the cruise. The Staff was totally Awesome!!! So friendly and welcoming...our cabin boy did an Amazing job and our waitress Andrea, for our 6 pm dining, was the Best!! I really enjoyed the snorkeling excursion in Cozumel.

It was great, but disembarkation needs work. Would have been better to just stay in our cabin until our turn to disembark.
