Overall, it was an OK experience, but I definitely would not cruise on the ship again. Our first day was extremely rough with even the staff commenting on how bad it was. Like I said previously, things were very outdated, but everything was clean and mostly well cared for. The only negative experience we really had was with the spa who was extremely pushy and then Added an extra gratuity charge that we did not authorize so we had to go back for them to reimburse it.
Embarkation

Mostly smooth but little order
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The main dining room and steakhouse were fantastic. The buffet food was something we tried once and wouldn’t do it again.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
Pools were extremely small And even closed for multiple times and days during our trip. Ship was extremely outdated, but in all fairness well taken care of
Entertainment
3 out of 5
I don’t know if it’s due to the shifts age, but the activities and entertainment just were poor. We did attend a few comedy shows that were actually pretty good
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
I will say the one thing about the cruise that was fantastic. Was the staff. Our room Stewart was absolutely amazing.
Ship Quality
3 out of 5
I read that this is one of Carnival’s oldest ships so I did expect things to be pretty outdated, but everything was mostly clean. Unfortunately, someone in a near by cabin was smoking, and we all got written warnings, which was inconveniencing due to the fact that not only am I pregnant, but it’s just irritating that we all basically got a hand slap for something that we didn’t do.
Cabin / Stateroom

Our room, Stewart kept everything very clean and neat. The bed was comfortable in the room was nice. Our linens did have some stains on them and that was a little concerning.
Ship tip
Go in with the expectation that the ship is older.
Honestly, this was one of the most irritating experiences due to the lack of communication. This was our first cruise, so we weren’t sure on much of anything. Overall, things were easy to navigate, but this one experience was awful. They shut off certain areas of the ship and rope off areas, but then don’t explain on how you’re supposed to get to where you’re supposed to be to debark
