Review summary

Great, short cruise from NOLA to Cozumel. We've been on this several times and it is always fun and relaxing. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and at home. The port are great too. Only wish the ship had been updated.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
The Port of New Orleans is so easy and efficient. Much better than some of the other larger cruise ports.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Great new menu. Some odd items, but the influence of Emeril is apparent. Drink are always good!

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Two nice pools but in July they should not heat the hot tubs. The pools were packed in the 92 degree heat while the hot tubs were empty. Would have been nice to have a place to plunge.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff and service is fantastic. So many wonderful people working on the ship, always with a smile.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
This is an older ship, so no bells and whistles. It needs a refresh pretty desperately. However, it is functional and easy to get around.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Great balcony cabin. The bed probably needs to be replaced and the room needs a refresh like the ship, but it was a good size for 2 and well positioned in the ship.

Ship tip

Stay mid deck so you can get around easier.
