Planning my second cruise NOW! Just loved it!!! Carnival Valor went above and beyond everything I expected. I had heard so many negative stories about cruise ships and most have not been correct, according to how Carnival Valor operates. I can only say great things about this ship and the experience the staff made sure I would have.

The food was amazing and always freshly served. Everything was clean and well prepared with such a beautiful presentation. The dining experience was so elegant and over the top delicious. I literally ate the best steak of my life at the Steakhouse. It was also very classy. During the breakfast and daily meals I chose to dine at the many restaurants on deck 9, Lido Deck. You can’t ever go wrong at any of these restaurants. Food is never an issue on Carnival. Staff are professional and friendly. Ordering is easy and quick. Just size up when packing to cruise with Carnival because they feed you very well.

Onboard Activities

I chose to hang out by the pool and visit the shops daily. I enjoy shopping! I toured the boat so I could familiarize myself with the layout of everything. This was my first cruise and I needed to learn the ropes. I attended Cruise Elegant Night and found it to be a very nice experience. I loved the elegant dress attire and photo shoots. I was able to meet so many people and look forward to booking my next cruise.

Staff were all friendly, professional and attentive to whatever I needed while on board. They were always informative and went above and beyond to make my trip comfortable and enjoyable.

Beautiful and EXTREMELY clean! The Valor was always maintained in an orderly fashion with the finest interior elements throughout. My room was on deck 1 and it was maintained daily to provide a comfortable and clean environment. Everything was easily accessible and I rate this ship very high for cleanliness.

Cabin / Stateroom

Deck 1, Room 1201 Very large room with the most comfortable bed and clean environment. All linens are replaced in bathroom daily and beautifully hung to present a welcome addition.

Ship tip

Make sure you bring a small mini fan because the rooms do become somewhat warmer than usual. Bring some snacks that are allowed by Carnival for those tiny cravings. The store on ship only sells a small amount of things. Download the WhatsApp in order to chat and make phone calls to family and friends back home.
