We loved having dinner at the Washington Dining room every night. Our waiters Darius and Rowel were just the best. They were personable, funny and entertaining. The food was delicious!

Alchemy Bar

5 out of 5

This was the most fun bar on the ship! It was a science project every night. Nelson and all of the bartenders were entertaining and professionals at their craft!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The fitness center rivaled any that I been at. The pools and waterslide were fun.

Photo Gallery

4 out of 5

The Photo Gallery was a little confusing. This needs to be upgraded to an on-line service.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The Trio of violinist were absolutely awesome! The main stage shows and musicians at the smaller venues were also terrific. One comedian was great, but one I didn't care for.

Children's Programs

I did not have children with me.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All personnel upon the ship were great. Our cabin steward Marichil went above and beyond. We needed her a couple of times for out-of-ordinary stuff and she responded quickly and pleasantly. Our dining room waiters Darius and Rowel were the best. They keep us coming back to the dining room nightly for their antics, charming personalities and wonderful service!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was clean and maintained well. It was a little challenging to get from our room to the dining room for the first few nights. An explanation of witch floors do/don't go from one end of the ship to the other would be helpful.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our room was just fine. The bathroom and room were clean and the layout was sensible.

Ship tip

Bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. The clanging and banging that goes on in the middle of the night can disrupt your sleep.

Ports of call

New Orleans, Louisiana

5 out of 5
I did not do any excursions this time but through prior experience, New Orleans has so much to offer visitors, The culture and dining in New Orleans is exceptional.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Cozumel was great! We did not do a planned excursion. We took a taxi a few miles north and did some shopping and dining a little off the beaten path. We had the best drinks at Dick's Dive and purchased cuban cigars at Havanah Bob's On the way back we stopped at Stingwray Beach for drinks and watched the stingwrays. The staff there was friendly, I'd go back.

Progreso (Merida), Mexico

4 out of 5
Progreso was smaller than Cozumel and had less to offer. Finding a good bar difficult. Finding good drinks was harder. We walked to the beach from the market and ended up getting an umbrella and beach chairs "free" for the day with a drink purchase. We were overcharged for the drinks (roughly $16 per drink) and they DID NOT have any alcohol in them. But hey, we enjoyed the beach comfortably. We walked through the streets a few blocks from the beach. Be prepared - the solicitors selling their wears were non-stop and excessive.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Disembarkation was simple and easy.
