Review summary

Cruise went well with the exception of the number of unsupervised children that were let loose on the Lido deck mid especially in the hot tubs.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Food was generally very good, but, Not up to pre COVID Standards. Example the melting cakes were not as gooey as they used to be. over the 5 night we had a chance to sample about 10 of them and every one was not very "melted" inside. Also, breakfast eggs benedict, the english muffins were so hard they couldn't be cut with a butter knife.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Because took kids on this cruise we spent a lot more time on the Lido Deck Mid Pool. Absolute madness. Too many unsupervised children were creating absolute havoc. Children were using the Hot tubs as kiddie pools. Lots of rough housing and splashing. you could absolutely not use those hot tubs without getting kicked, splashed, bumped etc. by a child. When we mentioned it to a life guard we were ignored. When i mentioned to security, he went over and stopped it, but they were rt back in there about a half hour later.

Entertainment

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The people were top notch and friendly. Every single person we met worked very hard and went above and beyond expectations. One observation was that it was noticable that there were fewer bar staff that would go around to take drink orders. This is a huge difference from past cruises. you normally can throw a stick and not hit a bar waiter. This cruise there were hours at a time when there were none at all in the area.

As a teacher, I go into “teacher voice” with these kids. I’ve never had a problem. It’s the parents… Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for your review Honestly parents don’t care just wants to drink and forget about them

Unsupervised kids can be annoying. To avoid a large number of kids, sailing when school is in session is recommended. I hope your next cruise is better! 🛳️🏝️

Thanks for your review. Too much pee in the hot tubs with all those kids I'm sure. 😝

Thanks for sharing. Unfortunately parents nowadays let their kids loose like wild animals. This old girl has been known to get in their face and tell them to go find their parents when we were trying to watch a movie.People are so inconsiderate of others. We noticed the waitstaff issue our last cruise. The drink package used to be cost effective but I will never buy it again after having to beg for service last cruise.I say that because I am a generous tipper and still could get no service.
