Review summary

Very hard to find a deck chair every day. Not enough chairs out. It was very windy in mid March, so much so that some of the decks were closed due to high wind. Good luck getting into the pools or hot tubs, always crowded with kids mainly. Hard for adults to enjoy those amenities.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Went pretty well, got boarded about 30 minutes earlier than out appointment

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Main dining was the pretty good, buffet's were fair, specialty restaurants were very good

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Went to a stage show every night. They were good, not great. Multi on board musicians that were very good. Comedians in comedy club were very good

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Stage shows were average quality, comedians were great, musicians were very good

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Waiters were excellent, room stewrds were excellent, other ship personnel were very good and helpful

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Staff worked hard to keep the ship very clean. Guests often left a mess staff had to clean. Some people are uncourteous, and rude, not the staff's job to pick up after you like your mommy. It takes a day or two to get the lay out of the ship. Signage is fair at best to help you get around

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Room was comfortable, adequate size, well appointed, very comfortable bedding

Ship tip

Be prepared to find long lines at dining and activiries

Ports of call

New Orleans, Louisiana

3 out of 5
Very easy to get to and park to board the ship

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
Easy to get off and on the ship. Easy to find booked tours. The port is VERY TOURISTY. Cozumel is a major tourist destination. Vendors are pushy, and no bargains to be had

Progreso (Merida), Mexico

4 out of 5
The port is another tourist trap set up. However the Mayan Ruins tour was excellent

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
It was pretty easy and timely leaving the ship. We carried our luggage off to spped up the process

Appreciate your details. Spring Break crowds can make for a frustrating sailing. Glad you enjoyed your cruise in spite of it.
