Review summary

Our 1st cruise and we will go on another one. I learned some things. Wish I knew more about the tip process. Like how you just use your badge to pay for things.

Cozumel was really nice. Progreso we only went to the shops right off the ship because other people on the boat said not to go down to the main shops because wasn't safe.

Other parts of the boat they knew our names. We had a great wait staff including Arjana, Carlito and Ketut in the dining room. Josie did the best omelets.

Drinks have an 18% tip included and you pap with your S&S card. If you want to tip more then just add it to your bill you sign. Some folks don’t know this and give an extra tip. Same with room service late night. Food servers and cabin Stewart’s tips are included in the gratuity amount that is charged to your account if you check it when you book so you don’t have to worry about it. I tip extra to bar tenders, room service, casino bar servers and head waiter but do it in cash as they preferred cash. When I board And meet my cabin Stewart I hand him a sizable tip and same when I say goodbye. At breakfast in the main dining room if the servers are good we will ask for them each morning and some mornings will leave some cash under the plate and more on the last morning. The last night in the main dining room I will always hand cash in the form of a handshake to the head waiter. This is my preference and others do tips their way.
