Overall, the food was sub-par, service was mostly sub-par, having to sign for each and very drink was time-consuming and dumb. We met some fantastic people and really enjoyed spending time with them. However, the overall experience was average, and we will not be sailing with Carnival again.

Main dining room food was sub-par; baked potato was dry, steak was tough, cheesecake was average at best. Buffet was not too bad; omelets were very good; they rationed out the bacon by only giving two slices and we had to ask for more. Unacceptable. The deli sandwiches were very good and probably the best food on board. As for the drinks, we had the drink package and we had to wait at least 10-15 minutes each time for a simple beer. The cause of the delay was that the bartenders had to ring in each and every order, and then have us sign a receipt, which slows down the process tremendously.

Karaoke was very fun, and the casino was fun as well. I was a bit taken aback about the smoking section being so far away from the bar.

The Green Eggs and Ham breakfast was very fun and our granddaughter loved it.

Room staff was great and very friendly. Most of the bartenders acted like it was a nuisance to bring us a drink, although Yo Yo was great and Maria in the casino was about the only one who seemed happy to be there.

You may want to call other cruise lines first before booking in regards to your expectations for not signing receipts on a drink program and needing more than 2 pieces of bacon by default when they divvy it out for breakfast :)
I can't believe your saying to sign a receipt is dumb and time consuming!!!! It's dumb not too..if you had changes on your account that wasn't yours you would think differently... stupid review bye bye 👋
Sorry this cruise didn’t measure up to your expectations. Hopefully you will find a cruise line that fits your needs. It is the beauty of the industry that there are so many options. There is something to fit everyone!😎
