I saw my room steward the day we boarded and never saw him again. I tried to call his direct line several times and he never answered. The day I saw him I asked for ice- he never brought ice- ever. Worst room steward I have ever had. Dining room staff was over worked and took it out on guests. Other staff and personnel rolled their eyes and vocally ‘sighed’ when asked a question. I couldn’t believe what I was experiencing. Never had this happen on any other cruise.

Ac was broke entire time despite calling or going to guest services everyday to let them know I was dripping sweat in my room. Balcony door was broken. No room service menu or breakfast menu in room. I couldn’t find my room steward to let him know and guest services never answered. Nor did the steakhouse.
I agree, I had the same experience back in April. It was my first time on Carnival and I will not be back. I'll stick to Disney Cruise Line from now on.
I'm kinda shocked at reading this..I just went twice weeks ago and I thought by far they had the best staff ever on any ship I've ever cruised....sorry you had such a bad experience.
I have cruised before and I’m well aware of the language barrier. That wasn’t the problem. Every other cruise I went on was nothing like this one. I love carnival and have had awesome experiences every time until this one. I couldn’t believe how awful it was. I know what I experienced and frankly don’t care for the snide remarks. Do you think I wanted to have a bad time? Are you kidding me? I’m giving my honest opinion about the service I received. If you had a great time hooray for you. No one in their right friggin mind books a cruise just so they can give a bad review cMon have some common sense. The purpose of a review is to give a review .... GOOD OR BAD. So don’t try to judge me as a person from a ship board chat.
Sounds like cruising and traveling may not be for you since you seem to have had an issue with everyone you came in contact with. Sometimes there is a language barrier on the cruise ships that many perceive as the staff being rude. Cultural differences can also be perceived in being rude if you are not accustomed to people being blunt and matter of fact.
