Review summary

Had a wonderful time with my family on this cruise and can't wait for the next one. Having a balcony room was one of the best decisions we made. All the food was fantastic, as well as all the Carnival Staff!

Took some time to get through all the lines, rightfully so.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Our wait staff was wonderful! Loved how they remembered all of our names after day1! Thank you too Tana, Ambrosio, and Elpidio! You guys were wonderful! I also enjoyed the brunch that was offered the 2 days we were at see. very delicious! Bought the Drink Package, i liked that it included bottled water, soda and specialty coffee; however not a fan of the 15 drink limit ( i did not hit that limit most the time), but because i would have gotten stronger drinks. i never once got a buzz or drunk using this package; will most likely not be purchasing the drink package for the next cruise. Also, drinks are not strong enough, the one shot limit as drink needs to change. Some of those frozen drinks could use 2-3 shots per drink with how big they are.

Onboard Activities

the pool games on the sea days were hilarious and so fun! really enjoyed the Music Trivia in the main lobby area (80 and 90s); the fitness center was bigger than i expected and had a lot to offer. The pools were nice and glad there were 4 hot tubs on the ship. Needs to be a baby pool/splash pad for children who are still in diapers.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The shows were all pretty good and i went to the comedy club a couple times and the 2 comedians were HILARIOUS!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room stewards were amazing and really tidied up our rooms every day. I enjoyed coming back form being gone all day to our bed made and fresh towels. Tana, Ambrosio, and Elpidio were our main dining room waiters and were amazing! they remembers everyone's name and really helped out with things with the 3 crazy kids we had by bringing extra bread and kids food to keep them occupied. Kevin the cruise director was hilarious and very cheery.

Ship Quality

took me a couple days to understand the layout but we loved our room placement (back of the boat). everything seemed very clean and maintained at all times

Cabin / Stateroom

Loved the balcony rooms and will never have anything else (except maybe a suite someday). the room was clean and i liked the layout. the beds were comfy.

Ship tip

Stay in a balcony room near the back of the boat...easy access to the lido deck, pools, and the buffets

Not a huge fan of all the hecklers at this port; didn't feel that safe.
