Deck parties, shows etc..the fun times is full of activity. We also took time to just sit, relax, swim and take in a movie under the night sky.

My son is 7 and he asked to go every single day! When we checked him out for afternoon family time and di ner he kept asking what time he could go back. He loved it.

Our room steward Johanna was awesome and always addressed us by name. Our wait staff, Ed and especially Shiela were attentive and very personable. All other staff we encountered were pleasant and professional.
Ship Quality

It's an older ship, it has some rust here and there externally and on the balconies...but it travels through saltwater so this is to be expected. The interior was beautiful and clean, staff was always right there to clean up anything that may need it. No complaints about the Valor at all.

Enjoy yourself, walk the deck in the evening and let the sea breeze wash the real world off you. Life is short, only look for the good. Dont forget to say Hey TJ to your awesome cruise director:)
We got rerouted to Mobile due to a storm forming and heading into NOLA. It was a little chaotic but I give it 5 stars because the Captain and Crew put our safety first and got us where we needed to go.
My Mom Dad Cousin and her husband myself and my husband went on Valor. My Mom and Dad were in their 80’s and our server in the Washington room was Marvin.
He was incredibly great with my Mom, cut her meat and was so helpful. So much so she wanted to take him he. We sailed with a service dog and they were just so accommodating. Of coarse Deetle was the bell of the ball😁😁😁
Love your attitude. That’s exactly why I LOVE cruising.....relax & forget about real world issues. There’s nothing you can do about anything from the sea, therefore there’s nothing to do but relax & enjoy yourself!!! 2 days & counting...I’ll be on Freedom.
