Review summary

If this is your first cruise and you don’t mind a bunch of big families and kids running around they go for it. My husband and I enjoyed ourselves although we found ourselves getting back to the ship fast from the ports to have quite time in the pools and eat in peace without families and kids yelling since everyone stays off the ship at the ports

Embarkation

5 out of 5
No issue what so ever

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
I think too many friends bragging about the food raised out expectations and overall the food is good but could be better

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The customer service is so great.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
On deck 2 on the even side cabins if would smell so bad most days

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The cabin feels run down and old but the staff always cleaned and did what they could

Ports of call

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
The water and the port is so beautiful

Progreso (Merida), Mexico

5 out of 5
Corona beach party was lit 🔥

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
They should do this differently is such a pain and everyone is ready to get off the ship so it’s probably the worst part of the trip

Imagine if you were to complain about a different demographic. “Too many white people.” But it’s so easy to attack kids right?

Carnival is the the most “affordable” cruise line, so you’ll always have tons of kids and groups of young adults. As with anything, some people teach their kids to be responsible, respectful and polite, others let them run around unmonitored as if they’re at a theme park...thank gosh Carnival came up with their Serenity deck. It helps a little.

You have to remember that you are on a cruise in the middle of spring break when families take the kids on vacation
