It was the best and worst experience of our lives. We learned a lot of mistakes not to make next time but are planning on taking our next cruise.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
The waitstaff we wonderful in the dining room but the food was a disappointment. Every portion was small and the taste wasn’t wow as we had been told to expect. The first night we had steak the price of meat was the size of my palm and the side was three pieces of broccoli and a small baked potatoe.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
We were not interested in any of the shows mostly. The one seminar we went to was held by a couple of “shopping experts”. Don’t fall for them. They have to get payoff from the shops in Cosmel.
Entertainment
None of the shows were interesting
Children's Programs
No kids

Cabin / Stateroom

First trip and we will only ever have a balcony. It was the perfect size for us two and probably would have been okay if we had taken our daughter.
Ship tip
Be very careful about shopping on the shop and on shore. The American owned companies were the worst.
The port was clean. Our excursion was purchased from Priceline, “Chocolate, Tequila, and Tacos”. Memo was our tour guide, he was the best. It was a little disconcerting when no one at port could give us good directions to Discover Mexico. But a quick taxi and we were there. It was just Memo and us two. Ended up being our best experience. Not the shops on Cosmel were pushy and will trap you with staff until they’ve talked you upside down.
The port was clean the shops wanted you to spend money but weren’t pushy like Cosmel. Next time we will do more shopping here. Our excursion was wonderful. It was interesting.
Could have been better. It was very interesting that customs is talked about last day at sea but they push spending so hard. We were the last floor off and I think it made the whole process better.
