Review summary

This was vacation for the masses! ( It’s like music for the masses... not really something impressive, just palatable for most people because that’s what makes the money) This was not relaxing or romantic. I had been on a barefoot sailing cruise and that’s more my idea of a vacation.

Terrible food! So gross I had issues with blood sugar because the food was not eatable. I should have come with protein bars and snacks to live on for five days.

Hot tub was not that hot. The pool was ice cold. No the pool is not heated.

They were not very helpful. The entire cruise was a hustle to get your money. Shop attendant said you can’t buy packs of cigarettes. You have to pay 50 for a carton . We found out they sell packs in the casino.

Ship was beautiful. I could not find anything on this ship and no maps were available other than for the sleep cabins. And I had black hair in my bathroom and my husband and I don’t have black hair.

We left from Galveston. There was no excursions... should there have been? I grew up in Galveston and would have liked doing something there.

Everyone has a hustle to get your money. They don’t offer authentic Mexico . It’s Mexico for Americans. It’s all a hustle for stupid Americans.

I liked this excursion with the dune buggies but it was in the ghetto. Also a hustle for Americans, they gave us the minimum for a overpriced excursion and our tour guides blatantly lied to us about many things. Being from Mexico, this seemed very disrespectful to Americans.

Disembarkation

No. You could not pack more people into one area. I was treated like a prisoner getting released from jail. No considering the people’s comfort. They had our money by then and we were not important.

I was not opposed to this type of hustle, the lady walking around with a tip jar not offering anything was insane.

I tried to decorate with tissue. Everyone had decorations for their cabin doors but I never found out how they did that.

No map? By every elevator there's a map of the ship. And if you download the hub app on your phone it has a map and every thing going on for that day.

We sailed on the Valor last August so the grandkids could go. Of our 8 cruises so far probably our least favorite of all ships, but we still had a good time. No we did not like Progresso but still enjoyed the day. Had a great time in Cozumel at Mr Sanchos. We did all this and did not insult the Mexicans or the Americans. I would hate to spend a week with you because you sound so angry. This was your honeymoon and you complained about everything. Think hard about what your travels will be in the future. I hope they do not go downhill from here.

Carnival is the family fun line, Norwegian is cheap. If you want elegance try Princess or better $$$$
