Review summary

The ship and staff were all very helpful and friendly. The ship itself was stellar clean. We had an enjoyable trip and we made allot of memories. The cocktails and drinks are a little pricey (average between $6 and $9 on the low end)

The port is always clean and friendly. We stopped at 3 Amigos just inside the shopping area. While eating some chips and dip, a piece of metal was discovered in the food! When brought to the managers attention he identified it as part of a machine they use to cut tomatoes. They offered to give a discount of 50% to our order, but did not replace the dip. Main concern was all the tables around us had the same dip and they did not consider replacing them.

Would try other lines just to compare. Just as others would try Carnival.

I have just a comment that I wonder if others cruisers wonder about Also? Why don't all the cruise lines honor each other's points. Seems it would benefit all. We stay with Carnival because of the points. I.e.

Wife and myself loved the Valor. Was our first cruise. Valor was newly arrived a couple month prior to us cruising. So glad it's still a wonderful ship. It sat a very high standard.

Loved tie valor also but when I can get a whole bottle of booze for 20$ and they want 10$ for one drink to me that’s outrageous but to be fair it’s the same at any bar you go to but I just bring my own wife has soda package so I just get my Coke from her and mix up a 24oz rum and coke and good to go if they would sell just me the booze package I would probably just do that but they wanted me to buy her one and she don’t drink

We loved the Valor last June on our first cruise. I would have to agree the ship was very clean and the staff were very helpful and polite. I did not think the drinks were that outrageous. The food was great and our room steward was fantastic.
