The cruise was wonderful. We loved our balcony room and private view of the ocean. Sat out there in our PJs in the morning and at night. The weather was beautiful and the sea was calm. Can't guarantee that of course. The food was wonderful, the service friendly and overall efficient. We loved the variety of things to do on ship. I loved the sea days which included brunch in the dining room. We loved the newer movies, and the Serenity deck, and the PG Comedy shows. All of our food was good from the various lunch and breakfast options. We loved the beach at Cozumel and were glad we did see the Chichen Itza. Our tour guide at Chichen Itza was great.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
The embarkation was fine. We were warmly greeted by older folks and the key at the stateroom door was ideal.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
We loved our 6 pm dining and the brunches on sea days in the dining room! Our staff was great. The many choices for lunch on the Lido deck were great! We enjoyed the Mongolian Wok, Guy's Burger place, Rosie's Restaurant, and the deli very much. We liked the various choices as well.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
We loved the three violinists! We followed them around the ship. We loved the newer movies! We enjoyed the PG rated Comics too. It was nice to have a choice. We did like the shows. I would have liked couples dance classes. We also loved the spa.
Entertainment
4 out of 5
Comedians were great! Loved that there was a PG option. Stage shows good too, caught the Rock and the Country show. The Violinists were the best by far. We followed them around the ship.

Overall service was great. Occasionally felt like a number. Our dining room staff was great though.

Cabin / Stateroom

We loved our balcony room, would not get anything else now. We did have a leak on the balcony that had to be fixed. My husband helped the staff fix it.
We wanted a lot key day so went to Tequila Beach which we loved. The bottom of the ocean was rocky, but the water was so clear, you could see the bottom. I just swam out until my toes touched only, then didn't worry about the rocks. The beach and water were so clean and the staff were very accommodating.
We booked a United Excursion to Chichen Itza which was less than organized. We wasted too much time getting to the ruins and then we had to rush. They also promised us a snack and did not deliver on that either. The folks that went with Carnival seemed to fare better. The ruins were great though.
I liked that they called decks and zones. I liked that couples had their own line, so they didn't have to wait behind the large families. Overall handled well.
