I am not saying the Valor is a bad ship because it is not. My husband and I just need a ship with a lil more to do if we are going to have 2 days at sea.

The Embarkation was smooth and easy.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining

The food was wonderful. Our waiter and waitress Karyotama/Megan and Naomi were amazing!!! We requested his area every night but one. We wanted to experience another waiter and omg we instantly regretted it. The drinks were good but very pricey.
Onboard Activities

I feel that the Valor needs a little more things to do. I am not a gambler, and I don't like being in a pool with kids in it due to I don't like being splashed. The Eagles club was ok. Jus wished more things to do. Due to it being mine and my husband's anniversary we received a $50 gift card to the spa. We went to the spa found out the prices and turned around and walked right back out. That was well as the drinks are outrageous.
Entertainment

Children's Programs

Service and Staff

Again we absolutely loved Karyotama/Megan and Naomi. He made our dinning so much more enjoyable. Also our room steward. Don't remember his name though. We were on deck 9 in room 9198.
Ship Quality

Ship was very clean.
Cabin / Stateroom

We had an Oceanview Suite. First thing I did was went straight to see our view. I opened the curtain and the window was shattered. The manager on the floor did try to lie to us and tell us it just happened that morning. We aren't dumb, we knew it had not. The window had tape on it and the tape was worn. This did not just happen. We had some friends in our room and stated they were on the ship in Jan and it was shattered then. There was 4 of us in this cabin and we were comp. $75 a piece. This was 3 of us 1st cruise and was very upset.
Ship tip
Be ready to pay for pricey pictures, drinks and if you go to the spa.
Valor was not my favorite but there was always something to do. And call me crazy but a day with nothing to do but lay on the deck sounds like bliss right about now.
We love Valor and the other Conquest Class ships. And we never have any trouble finding things to do on sea days, even the 7+ day itineraries where you have a minimum of 3 sea days. Lots to do!
