Wonderful first time cruise. Had a great time and meet many interesting people. Will definitely be doing this again and soon.

Review summary

For our first cruise it was everything we expected and more. Had a wonderful time. Loved the time spent in our cozy balcony room, on the deck people watching and taking in the sun, to shows, listening and dancing to the music, It was a wonderful time with a wonderful staff and wonderful people.

Embarkation

I was a little disappointing on the delay and not leaving while still day light. Wanted to do the whole wave and stand out on deck watching us sail off. Not the fault of the Cruise Line , but Mother nature. I also lost a very expensive iron because no where on the information given does it say irons are prohibited. I looked thoroughly. My iron was thrown away and it was a $60.00 iron. The actually embankment went rapidly but I do not understand the appointments schedule - didn't see anyone actually using it.

Drinks were awesome - definitely glad we purchased the cheers package. Food was a little disappointing. although expected from other opinions we received Pre-Cruise. I was looking forward to eating fruit and salad and both were lacking. Not a great selection and not fresh. Dining food was definitely better,but got cold really fast. Our waiter was great in the evening and the waitress in the morning dining room. Pictures uploaded.

All the bartenders were great - there was one in particular that worked in the afternoons. She was a small in stature and was Asian

all activities were wonderful - although sometimes the over 21 area had under 21. shows and bands were wonderful, DJ out by the pool was great. Loved the Lobby trivia on Friday and Sunday night.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. Our housekeeper was so pleasant and wonderful - Do not know her full name, but we called her Sue. I lost my card. Feel bad because she deserves koodoos. Hope you all know who we are speaking of .

Loved our room. Loved being just one level down from pool and bar area. Room was exactly like the pictures. It was really great - I loved the room. Bed was very comfortable.
