Review summary

This was our first cruise. The purpose of our cruise was to marry our daughter onboard the Valor. The wedding was beautiful and the reception was fantastic. The food, drinks, wait staff where all exceptional! It was a great experience! We also were on board to celebrate my mothers 80th birthday. I would like to thank Katerina in the Lincoln dining room for arranging a Birthday dinner for my mother and family! This was definetly a Birthday to remember

Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was clean and the staff kept it that way! We choose not to order room service and spent most of our time away from the room, except to sleep!

Ship tip

Don't be afraid to explore the ship!

We did the Beach Snorkel with Mexical Lunch! The experience was excellent and we saw quite a few species of fish. The coral was a little sparce! The food was excellent! We had Chicken Fajitas. They also had a tequila tasting and guacamole making demonstration. I highly recommend this excursion!!!

Progreso (Merida), Mexico

5 out of 5
We did the Salza and Salza excursion. We say a few historically sites in the city before we went to this quaint 20 room hotel. In the restaurant we made two kinds of salsa and one dish of quacamole! We also ordered lunch and it was fantastitic. We then learned the Salza in the back garden.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
I rate it as good! We were delayed at sea due to the Port of Galveston being fogged in! The diembarkation process was a little chaotic!
