Review summary

I royally got screwed by using a debit card. Use cash or keep up with how much you spend. Overall, the cruise was great and fun. The staff was great. Entertainment kept us busy. Ports of call were fun, but hot. I would do it again!

Very nice but a little small. But it was nice.

Ship tip

Everything was great, but, I repeat but, DO NOT USE A DEBIT CARD. They take money out of your account as you use it to check to see if the money is there, then they put the money BACK into your account making you think you have more than you actually have. After the cruise, they will then take the whole amount. I was left way overdrawn. I absolutely hate the way they do this. Terrible. Next time, use cash and deposit a little everyday.

Disembarkation

Took tooo long. We were in the 6th floor and last to get off. FYI, bring just a little luggage and don't check your luggage on dissembarkation. Carry your own luggage off and go first.

Since @Tom2940 didn't respond to our questions, I guess the only explanation is that he overextended what he had in his bank account and couldn't leave the ship until he settled his bill. Not really a "debit card" issue, probably more of a "money management" issue. 🤑

We have always used our debit card an never had a problem. What kind of stress did u have.

Cash, credit card, or Carnival gift cards. But NEVER a debit card on your cruise account. Sorry that happened to you.
