Below average. Norwegian and Royal caribbean much better. Took my friend on her first cruise and I was embarassed with the bland food and non friendly staff.

Review summary

Below standard. The comedians were hilarious and the activity director was amazing. Our staff member for or cabin was very nice as well. Other than that, the other staff need some life in them. Not friendly and shows were mediocre at best

The family show in the evening called Rock USA or something similar was horrible. Dancers were basic to average and their dance moves grinding on the male dancers was more for a strip club than a family show. This is my 5th cruise and by far the worst! The activity director was lively and great. The shows mediocre at best.

Ok, this is my 5th cruise and the staff was not as friendly. Everyone seemed bored. One waiter smiled and carried my tray back but other than that it was the super friendly staff that I am used to. The help desk was not friendly at all. They seemed over worked and bored. Maybe I am just used to the service I received on the last cruise line Norwegian. Maybe I am expecting too much for carnival and this is the standard. If so, then I cant complain if this is the usual.

The worst safety briefing ever. Asking me to pass my sail card to strangers so the staff can check it in. It was hot and I cant believe the disorganization
