Review summary

Not what we expected. It was average. The only reason we choose Carnival was that we took our 2 boys (ages 20 and 22) with us, and they were interested in night life activities. Can't imaging we would choose Carnival again.

Embarkation

Wasn't very organized. We didn't know where to go and there were not visible instructions.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Main Dining Room - poor - Salmon was overcooked, Tortilla Soup tasted and looked like Campbell's Tomato Soup with some chicken added, tacos were too spicy to eat (I like spicy) and very small portions. Guy's Burgers - great! Pizza - average Bfast Buffet - average Drink Package - we bought ahead of time. We asked all the staff we could find about how to access these when we arrived on the first day. No one seemed to know. We were told they would be in our rooms starting on day 2, we were told we needed to go to Guest Services to get them, later we were told to go to one of the bars (which was the correct answer it turns out)

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Enjoyed the games at the pool. Didn't see many people smoking at the casino, but the entire room reeked of smoke.....so much so I am still coughing from all that I breathed in several days later.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Loved the Rock Show on the last night! The comedians were great!

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
We had a lot of trouble finding someone who could answer our questions.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
We liked the separate areas for adults only. There were LOTS of kids running around the decks and in the hallways unsupervised that we had to transverse. The separate adult areas allowed for a refuge.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
The cabin was great. Very clean and well maintained.

Ship tip

Don't expect the great food that hear about on cruises.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida Did not visit port

Nassau, Bahamas Did not visit port

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
We were part of the last group to disembark. We had to be out of our room by 8:15 and we were assigned a 10:00 AM disembarking time. We went to one of the dining halls to eat and about 20 minutes after sitting down we were told we needed to leave because the dining room was closing.
