Review summary

I would love to do this entire cruise all over again. The only thing I might change would be to stretch it to one more day, maybe two, or three. We had a great time and look forward to our next cruise in January.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Smooth and worry free embarkation. No fuss, minimum waiting and straight onboard.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Dining rooms, restaurants and buffets were all first rate. Main dining portions were reasonable, not oversize, perfect for me. Buffets were always well stocked with food kept at the correct temps.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
We primarily used the spa and gym, though the other activities we used were also first rate.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We spent time with the music venues. Talented musicians, good selections and pleasant venues.

Children's Programs

No kids with us on this cruise.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All service was prompt and correct. Very polite, courteous and personable.

Ship Quality

Shipshape

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Nice size. Comfortable for two. Good balcony and great views. spotless

Ship tip

If at all possible, take the Faster to the Fun option. It helps quite a bit at Embarkation, and Debarkation.

Ports of call

Galveston, Texas

5 out of 5
We love Galveston and have visited several times. Every time we are here, we revisit some of our favorite spots and always try to do something new. There is so much to do here, that's easily accomplished.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
We did an excursion to La Casa en La Playa. I did not want to leave Cozumel.

Progreso (Merida), Mexico

5 out of 5
The port is not the prettiest, but it's clean and functional. The excursion to Uxmal and Hacienda Ochil was very informative and fun.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
After another wonderful breakfast, we packed up our few toiletries and camped out in the theater, reading while we waited for our group. Once called, we were off the ship within 15 minutes.
