Review summary

It was a ok getaway

we stated Cruiseing in 2006 over all things have not gotten better in fact it not as nice as it was. Dinning room standard are too casual ( don't like to see men's arm pits) tank tops men wearing a hat at dinner is a no no but not on the ship. No turn down service )no mints) . Spent over 45 minutes trying to get room device. Way too much smoke odor in the casino. Don't think I'll Cruise with Carnival again. Too many other Cruise lines .

I like getting dressed for dinner in the main dining room. My problem is that it's not enforced. If you don't want to wear proper attire, eat at the buffet. Period.

I agree with most of the comments here, but the dress code is on line. You see it before you come. Try and stick to it , no tanks.

I'm being facetious here, but I'm wondering if women's arm pits are okay? I would assume sleeveless gowns etc. would be acceptable. Aren't we all seeking equality. I would never wear a tank top to the dining room, but shorts, you bet. I'm on vacation and usually if I'm on a cruise I'm in the tropics.

They give people an economical resort option and they offer upscale options on their brand segments. We do y'all begrudge them for that?

I have been saying for several years already that Carnival has become the Greyhound bus of the cruise industry. It is a real shame. I used to like sailing on Carnival.

When I go to book a cruise I research how the ships in that line operate. the minute I find out that everything is prim and proper I move on. I like casual cruising. My advice to avoid disappointment research the cruise line to be sure they offer the type of atmosphere your looking for. Carnival has a no tank top in dining room policy so that is a bad on them for not enforcing.
