Review summary

This was our 3rd time on the Valor. We found the ship very clean and carpets didn't look too worn for a ship that is no doubt heavily used. As mentioned above we enjoyed the serenity area. Always enjoy the bright decor of Carnival Ships!

Food and Dining

We found the food at the buffet not as warm as it should have been also dining in the evening at times could have been warmer. We enjoyed any time dining. The first 3 nights our service was not very good but we made a complaint and from then on we received excellent service. The waiter we were then assigned to did an excellent job! Diningroom very nice!

Entertainment

Have seen better shows but were OK. Times were fine. My husband went to a couple of art auctions...one was cancelled the other started very late. He said they were not very organized.

Service and Staff

As mentioned made a complaint in regard to diningroom experience and was taken care of right away. Room steward very friendly and always cleaned our room nicely and of-course, a nice towel animal!

Ship Quality

Smelling cigarette smoke while walking from one end of ship to the other end. Would be nice be able to do so without going through casino area.

Cabin / Stateroom

Outside cabin very nice. Clean and comfortable. While we were near the elevators never heard anything from them. The towels could have been a little softer but were adequate.

We went Cave Tubing and totally enjoyed it! Be sure to have some tacos afterwards....very good! Guides were very knowledgeable and nice!

We have been to this port many times. We just walked around the shopping area of ship. Sort of tired and being called to come in the stores! Next time we will have to take an exursion we haven't been on.

We just enjoyed the area around the ship. The beach was nice and we really enjoyed the sky lift....shoppin was OK. Next time we will no doubt take an island tour.

We always enjoy this port. Feel very comfortable on own. Went to 7 mile beach and relaxed.
