Carnival Valor

Sail Date: June 08, 2008

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Clean, friendly, much better decor than the Pride. Pleasant, friendly and helpful staff.

A bit difficult trying to navigate getting from point A to point B because the floor-plan on some decks is awkward - couldn't take elevator from our deck down to Deck 3 for dinner because it didn't go through - or was it trying to get to the Ivanhoe Theater - see, still confused, just like on ship.

Pros: The room-service, dining hall service and staff, in general, were excellent.

Cons: our mistake - we took a room (8th floor) under the Lido Deck and heard constant moving of chairs from the pool deck.

Recommends Carnival Valor? Yes!

George Town, Grand Cayman
swimming with the Stingrays was a great experience on the Reef & Snorkel tour! Not many fish though.
Belize City, Belize
The tour of the ruins was fantastic - to see history and touch it - superb!
Don't Miss: Xanantunich Ruins
Cozumel, Mexico
A fantasic site, gleaming at edge of crystal blue waters. And save some time for a short swim at this location.
Don't Miss: Ruin of Tulum
Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
A change-of-pace to see how these islands looked before development ruined them.
