Review summary

Overall the ship was clean and well maintained. It can be difficult to get to the dinning rooms due to the layout of the ship, but overall not too bad.

Food and Dining

Food quality in the dinning room and on the Lido deck were very good. The deli and the fish fry were outstanding. The Asian food spot was not as good as other ships. I would prefer that they have only one formal night and that they allow dress shorts in the dinning room.

Overall everyon did a great job. They need some better proceses for debarkation though. Don't use the slef express until they create a real process.

Although quite large the only times that you felt the number of passengers was on the tendered ports and debarkation. Public areas were good although lots of smoke in the casino.

Great job by the room steward. we did have a balcony room. Saw some flying fish and some dolphins from the balcony.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

We relaxed here and went to a beach club callled Tequila beach. Set it up as we walked into the port area and got a good discount. $25/pp for the beach club (open bar, snacks and lunch), $20 for a snorkel noat ride just down the beach which was very good.

Good if you like to see a raw island that is very poor. Lots of development going on. We used the "Cynthia and Dianne" tour company to see the island and get to a beach. They were very good.

We did the cave tubing adventure through Cave-Tubing.com. A long walk in the jungle but a great ride down the river in the caves. Always plan a tour here as the larger city is not safe to walk around in outside of the port. The general port area is fine though.

Unfortunately the wind was high and our scube with the sting rays was cancelled. We went to 7 mile beach. Great place. Short stay, so not much time to recover and do something else. Very busy in port.
