We booked this trip to experience Halloween on a Carnival Fun Ship and we were not disappointed. From the time we arrived in NOLA until we headed home it was perfect. We enjoyed perfect weather, perfect seas, perfect port days and more fun than we can relate. The new upgrades will make future cruisers on the Sunrise very happy indeed!

It was pretty chaotic outside the port terminal, but this was very unusual! NOLA port is always friendly and fast!

The main dining room food was awesome. Great choice and variety and a lot of new things to try! No let down at the buffet either, but the specialties were fantastic! Guy's Burgers and the Blue Iguana Cantina did not disappoint. And the Chef's Table was fantastic!

Joachim and Simona made the trip even more memorable with their unbelievable skill and excellent service at the Alchemy Bar. Get a Moscow Mule here and you will not order one anywhere else on the ship. The Deal Closer was a hit with our friends!

Ok, so we got LUCKY!!! We must have been the first to sail in this newly refurbished cabin and everything was crisp and new! The updates are awesome. Multiple USB ports remove the need for the bulky extension cords! Better lighting all around and the new shower and vanity fixtures looked much better than the old dated pink.
