Review summary

I've been trying to go on the cruise for the past 10-15 years, but never have because I was terrified. I can't swim and the thought of being out in the middle of the water with no land in sight panicked me. Well I finally put on my big girl pants and took the blind jump. What I had in my mind was total opposite of my experience. I've missed out on some good years of cruising. We always goto Myrtle Beach for our Anniversary... this year it's our 2nd cruise. We've already booked and can't wait to make new memories.

Embarkation

My adrenalin was at a high but I faced my fears. In my mind the ship was gonna sway and I'd be hanging on for dear life. It was so smooth like driving a car.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Let me just say I got on the ship hungry and got off stuffed. Good food, great atmosphere and plenty of choices. I ate at all specialty restaurants and was not disappointed. Main dining amazing... the dancing set it over the top. Buffet was good plenty of choices.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
My first cruise... husband and I went with another couple. Pools and hot tubs over ran with kids so we stayed out... I understand it was spring break for some so it didn't bother me. We did play corn hole on several occasions that was my favorite.

Room steward PHENOMENAL!!! He called us by name from jump. 1st night asked for bucket of ice and it was in our room every day after. Room was clean... he stayed on top of it. Everyone was so friendly never once felt like an outsider.

Wasn't what I expected... never saw staff just hanging out... they were constantly busy. Halls clean... communal bathrooms clean. Never saw anything dirty... love that

Glad to hear others enjoying cruising as I think it is the way to vacation for the money and perks. Welcome aboard and may you explore many ships and places. Sailed the triumph on 3/8 and it was my 52nd cruise...πŸ˜€πŸ˜Ž

Welcome to the fun of cruising! I had a blast on the Triumph in January and had a wonderful time thanks to the great crew! Sailing her again on April 28th with my two teenagers.

This is our first for both of us and we are super excited. We too have been discussing a cruise for quite some time, but we just decided to dive in and do it now. :-)
