I will probably do another cruise line next time just because it was so over run with Kids. We never got to enjoy a pool or relax in a hot tub. The ship was a little old. One good thing was the photographers. They did an awesome job and the pictures were beautiful.

There was never a time that was for “adults only”
To enjoy a pool. So many kids all the time. Should have closed at least 1 pool at 9 or 10 for adults to enjoy. Thought there could have been more to do that didn’t cost money.
Onboard Activities

Francis was wonderful. I am gluten free and he watched out for me. He was pleasant and every night was relaxed and wonderful. Enjoyed the couple of short entertainment skits out on.

Jay jay did a good job. Liked having a safe in the room. The beds were comfortable. The toilets had some trouble flushing all the way. Had to watch that before leaving and noticed some public toilets with incomplete flushing. Eew
Everyone was so helpful and kind. My sister lost her phone with a credit card in it and it was found in a store by an employee. It was returned to her completely intact after several hours! We booked an excursion from a second party which we enjoyed a lot. We rode electric bikes to an area and snorkeled. It was a very nice (and inexpensive) trip.
Not know when you went since there are no cruises listed, all I can say is check the time of year you are cruising. Maybe less kids at a different time, and don't book "the fun ships" as they are known to be more family friendly. There fore more kids than some of the others.
I do think that all their rules need to be enforced. And that just because your kids "can't go anywhere" doesn't mean they can't reek havoc and get into trouble. Your job as a parent doesn't get a vacation.
First of all, if they have more than one pool, one should be designated as “adult only” and enforce it. It’s one thing to have a lot of kids onboard, but if they’re running amok unsupervised and in all the hot tubs and pools, then that’s a problem. My last two cruises have been on NCL, and they strictly enforce the adult only pool and hot tubs. There is a designated family pool and hot tub. And these are on the main pool deck, not in the adult only area of the ship. As for the bathroom toilet issues, the Triumph is an old ship with many issues. I think if I was looking to book a cruise, I’d research and read all the reviews I could, and those out there for the Triumph would cause me to think twice about sailing that ship. The ship needs to be put in dry dock sooner than later. Next time, research better. Watch YouTube videos of the ships you are looking at, and read the reviews. Do not book a ship based on cheap price. You get what you pay for. I have a Carnival cruise booked for March 2019 on the Breeze, my first since 2007, and I pray I will not be sorely disappointed. I had some reward points that I didn’t want to go to waste, so that is why I booked this cruise. I’ve only cruised RCCL and NCL the last several years, and feel they give you a much better cruise experience. You may want to try them. NCL has the best complimentary and specialty food choices, in my honest opinion.
