Review summary

Overall the cruise was okay. The ship came in late due to engine problems and all we got was a $50.00 on board payback!! We lost half a day and should’ve gotten that back in full!!

Melinda was wonderful. Although our room needed major repairs she accommodated us as needed. Refridgerator needed to be changed three times. Tub leaked water all over floor from underneath tub. Wasn’t enjoying our room at all. Wasn’t Melinda’s fault and we didn’t blame her but did make her very aware of our situation.

On our last cruise we went on the fantasy it of Mobile.We lost half a day cause of a storm and the cruise before us couldn’t come back in time. Then we lost half a day at cozumel cause of engine problems. Then they temporarily fixed it and hurried up to come home and we got back to mobile 2 hours early. They didn’t do any sort of refund.

ronfrank09, I have not heard of any problems since their latest breakdown. It’s a good thing it will be going into dry dock to give it an overhaul. Perhaps they will change the name as they did to the Destiny to get rid of all the bad memories of problems in future passengers minds. The Destiny was “reborn” as the Sunshine, and now everybody loves her!

The Triumph is scheduled to go into dry dock to get all the updates and amenities of Sunshine, I heard.

You still paid for sleeping and eating. No other cruise line would give you a half day refund either.
