Review summary

The Triumph, while older and smaller than some ships in the fleet, was a perfect spot for us to start. We learned the layout quickly and knew where we were going. The Carnival hub app kept us on top of the schedule and connected with one another. We can't wait to cruise again.

Embarkation

We were faster to the fun, and it as certainly worth it. We arrived around 10, and were seated and ready for embarkation within a half an hour.

We ate in the MDR every evening, and the lido buffet for lunch. The staff was amazingly attentive to our needs and made sure everything was to our liking.

They were just amazing. Kevin, our room steward was prompt and thorough when cleaning our room and caring for us. With anytime dining, we didn't have the same wait staff every night, but the hostess knew me by name.

The first year the Triumph was out we sailed her for our first cruise. We loved her and have been cruising ever since. You never forget your first love. ☺
