Review summary
We had a fantastic time, fantastic weather and fantastic ship! Everything was very clean, staff was friendly. Sherman our room steward was very attentive, kept ice in the ice bucket and our room neat and clean! Elizabeth at Guest Services was very helpful and the 2 times that we had a problem it was taken care of in a timely manner (once I had to report that there was no power to our outlets or our TV and another time the sink plug would not come up) Food was fantastic and for the first time I did the sea day brunch (9 cruises and I'd never tried it but will do it everytime from now on that's for sure). In the MDR we did YTD so we didn't have the same wait staff (we requested on the second evening to be seated with Felix & Dessy again but his area was full and it would be quite awhile before we could be seated) I can't remember the name of the head waiter but Devon (Beep Beep) the assistant waiter was a lot of fun! The last evening when we weren't in his area he spotted us and came over and spoke to us. We didn't attend any of the shows (that's not our thing) but we did attend the Marriage show, always good for a laugh. Jess from the US was a great cruise director, lots of energy! We had not been to Progresso since 2009 (another time the port was canceled) what a improvement at the pier! Lots of shops. We did a excursion the last time we were there and didn't really get to see anything else. This time we took the bus into Progresso and walked around there for a couple hours, this is the REAL MEXICO, not commercial. Looking forward to our next cruise!
