Review summary

This cruise was not good at all.  My luggage was destroyed by a porter and had to be replaced by Carnival.  It was only a year old and it was American Tourister and they replaced it with no name luggage.  The weather was a big factor.  I know this cant be helped but the whole cruise was affected by this.  It was so rough, had we not had motion sickness patches we would have been sick the entire time.  A lot of people were ill.  All the shoes were cut down to one show a day, unless you are a gambler or a drinker you were bored too tears.  The lines for the restaurants were awful.  Not once, did we not have to wait for food for at least 25- 30 minutes at a time.  And I must say the food was sub par to average at best.  The excursion in Cozumel was cancelled and reimbursed to us and the one in Progresso was not what it described.  We went to a private home with a private chef and bartender supposedly to this amazing beach.... so wrong the beach was tiny and the water was not pretty and the bartender couldn't understand anything we wanted unless it was a beer or strawberry margarita.  The food here was good but not as good as what it describes when booking it.  Do yourself a favor and book to an all inclusive resort and skip the cruise.  We will never cruise again.
