Review summary

The boat is great however they are understaffed an overworked crew. The pools were so crowded we could not get in ever. The biggest disappointment was our night meal. The staff was rude to us and after three nights we chose to not go back.

Ship tip

Be prepared to take care of everything yourself. Before on our cruises we were catered to. We were told they had cut back on staff.

In my experience if you are kind and gracious, you receive kindness and grace in return. You expect crowds on a Carnival cruise. It is one of the least expensive and therefore more crowded with less staff. If you desire privacy and space a luxury cruise line with more staff serving fewer guests may be more to your liking.

Had a wonderful time on this ship in Feb, Mar, and April and on the B2B asked for the same table and MDR crew. They were always willing to serve and were friendly. So were the other cruises on the Triumph. LOVE IT! But you never know each situation is different.

The pools are always too warm in the summer and too crowded. That's the way it is. Not enough pool space for 3500 guests.

Sorry to hear. We were on the sailing right before and the staff was outstanding. Also, I keep reading complaints about the pools but we never had an issue.

Unlike the Triumph's crew. In my 2 Triumph cruises this year the crew has been outstanding.
